Solana Beach schools need your support!

Year after year, the Solana Beach School District delivers an award-winning education to our children, which the State of California does not fully fund. In fact, we anticipate that there will be more than a $300 difference or “gap” this year for each student between what the State provides and the cost of educating each student to our higher academic standard.
 
In order to bridge this “gap”, the Solana Beach Foundation for Learning provides the funds to support specialized instructional staff in science, art, music, physical education and technology, as well as other vital academic programs and materials for Solana Beach District schools: Carmel Creek, Skyline, Solana Highlands, Solana Pacific, Solana Santa Fe, and Solana Vista.

Our children deserve a better education than the State provides. Won’t you join District families, friends and the Carmel Valley, Del Mar, and Solana Beach communities to support a quality public education for our kids?

Your tax-deductible contribution is processed through our nonprofit 501 (c) (3) Foundation and returned directly to the school of your choice. Each school within the District determines how funds will be spent for this 2007-2008 school year, with input from the principal, teachers, and site council representatives.
